About the Author

I grew up in Chicago, Illinois where I began writing at the age of 10. While attending Howard University as a Microbiology major, I knew in my Senior year before graduation that my purpose was not to practice medicine. Although my passion was always writing, I chose to pursue career fields that at the time, I felt offered more financial stability. However, after doing Mary's Will and not following God's Will for my life, I landed in prison. It was during that time of 7 years where I found my Authentic Self. Once I realized the brokenness and evident darkness inside & outside the walls of prison.......I wrote,  Life's Simple Truths Book 1 & Book 2.

LST Books took over 15 years to write.  After teaching LST Workshops over 3 years to shackled women and over 90% of women did not return, I knew that the time is NOW.
